NCAA to kick off Season 98 at the Big Dome

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the country's oldest athletic collegiate league, returns at the Smart Araneta Coliseum for the opening of its 98th season.

In a media launch held at the Novotel Manila Araneta City, the 10-member collegiate league announced the start of its latest season through an opening ceremony scheduled on September 10, 2:30 pm, at the Big Dome.

The opening ceremony will be led by host school Emilio Aguinaldo College and will welcome student athletes from Arellano University, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde, José Rizal University, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Mapúa University, San Beda University, San Sebastian College – Recoletos, and the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA.

With the theme "Achieve Greatness Every Day", NCAA Season 98 marks the return of the leagues' exciting sports events like basketball, volleyball, cheerleading competition, swimming, track and field, beach volleyball, taekwondo, and chess.

The NCAA Season 98 opening ceremony at the Smart Araneta Coliseum will air live on GMA.
